The Honey Lou Idea

Our vision behind Honey Lou was to create a sweet spot, basically a safe space, for sweet souls. We love cute people and we want them to stay cute. So if anyone asks what the concept of Honey Lou is: Its sweet humans in a sweet bar.

Please note, guests must be at least 25 years old to visit Honey Lou.

The Name

The name Honey Lou is inspired by the street of our bar, Anzengruberstraße, named after Ludwig Anzengruber, a 19th-century writer from Vienna. The building of our bar, constructed in 1908, has hosted various bars over the years, each incorporating Ludwig's name in some way, such as 'Ludwigs', 'Ludis', 'Anze', or 'Anzengruberin'. We wanted to maintain this connection in our own unique way, and that's how we came up with the name Honey.
